In the surroundings of Lari, within easy access of Pisa airport (35 km)and the thermal baths of Casciana Terme,
this traditional country house has been perfectly restored by the present owners only few years ago. The house is reached via a paved private road from the automatic gate and is surrounded by a garden of 700 sqm and 9000 sqm land with small olive grove. The country house has a surface of 220 square meters, and boasts on the ground floor entrance hall, dining room, fit-in kitchen, pantry and laundry room, access to the large patio, spacious living room with large stone fireplace, dining room and a large bathroom with shower. The house has been restored with very high quality material such as terracotta floors and chestnut beams.
In this territory (Wine Route of Pisan Hills), where already the Etruscan produced wine, there is a great production of high quality wines due to geographical indications and climate. 30 minutes from the sea, it is possibile to install a pool.
Nestling amongst the Pisan hills, the little town of Lari can safely lay claim to having Etruscan origins. It was also inhabited during Roman times and during the early Middle Ages, and by the beginning of the second millennium the town had become very influential. Recorded in the 11th century, the Castle controlled a vast area of land and this soon became the subject of battles between Pisa and Lucca.
